Seriously, I'm effing tired of this.

2/19/08 EDIT:
Yea, I totally spun out in the exact same spot in the exact same way this morning. I'm changing my route to/from work. Apparently the DoT doesn't give a shit about this patch of road and feels that leaving it covered by a thick sheet of ice is an AWESOME idea. >8(

*************

I'm beginning to really fucking hate wisconsin. Why the shit did people start living here? It's completely impossible to drive on these shit roads. I spun out on the way to work AGAIN. It's not even the first time I've spun out in this exact spot. This time it was near-death experience caliber garbage. I was completely perpendicular to the road. And guess where my fucking driver side door was, right in the face of oncoming traffic behind me. For what felt like 20 minutes I just saw this car sliding on the road behind me coming towards me before coming to a halt inches from my FACE.

Of course that was just the start of it. It took another 10 minutes just to get car's ass out of the snow that it found itself comfortably nestled in.

Goddamnit I swear to god these fucking roads are going to kill me someday. I'm tired of wondering if I'll even make it to work alive. What the shit where the fuck is global warming?

  1. You should get snow tires. ):

  2. Btw, I don't really like it here that much anymore because of Winter. Summers are nice, though. Anyways, I want to move to Texas. =D

  3. I'm serious about those snow tires. Get them by this weekend. Don't wait until next Winter.

  4. It's really nice in the seasons that aren't winter. A lot of this record snowfall has to do with it being a La Nina year. Regardless, the season's almost over so I'll hang in there. I'm not buying a new set of tires just to wear them out on dry roads. Guess I'll just drive even slower =/ I really thought going 20 would be slow enough but w/e.

  5. Go Super Saiya-jin swooooosh.

  6. Just don't get in an accident, or it's gonna cost ya more than it would for four tires.
And...The other seasons can be nice, but I still don't like it here because of Winter, haha. It's probably because of all the extra driving I have had to do this year with my classes being downtown. Also, Madison fails at putting salt on the roads. I was slipping around today even though I have snow tires and was going slow. ): Gargarrgragrargragraarr.

  7. This state is such bs. I have also noticed that they tend to just... not salt the roads. The figure throwing dirt on them is enough. And that's only on the roads that they care to actually attend to ):

  8. Scary shit
