I'm depressed. I feel like an alien in my own apartment. I feel myself floundering at my job. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything in a long time. I'm so mind-numblingly lonely.

Smartass remarks (like the kind I'd probably make if I was reading this) will be regarded as attacks. I don't expect sympathy.
