We Welcome You To 2007 With A {Rose}

So, Shash and I were discussing what we’d release tonight in place of the delayed SotY… and we were both like, “man, we need more cornandbeans.” As such, we present you with more cornandbeans. {Rose} was stepped FOUR different times by three different stepfile artists, and in our humble opinion, this is the best one of the bunch, by hi19hi19.
Plus, Rose is appropriate, as the Rose Bowl has been held on January 1st for over 70 years.
Anyway, you can find it in Dance. Although be warned… future Dance songs WILL start being put into Misc, purely to prevent Dance from reaching an 8th page.
Short and sweet, cause I don’t really know what else to say.

Could there be a feature added in the game where you can skip to the page you want? For example if you want a song in page 6 in dance, you could select page 6 from a pulldown menu and hit go, OR maybe LAST PAGE/FIRST PAGE buttons added on? I’m sure that MISC will start having the same problem as dance when that has 5 or 6 pages full.

Instead of putting it into Misc, you should sort out the dance songs more specificly.

We can’t make new genres, and Dance and Misc are the only two categories that most new songs fit into.

Eh, at this point new genres are looking like they are worth the effort. In particular adding Techno and Trance genres would tidy up Dance quite handily. I know that you guys (being Shash and Tass) can’t do it, but if it can be done at all, it’d be a good idea.

Incorrect. The genres of many songs in the dance section do stand out from many others in the same dance category. I absolutely agree that many songs are needed to be sorted in new genre sections instead of just dance. Dance is way too general a genre; funk is more specific, as an example.
As for {Rose}, I’ve been awaiting for this song. Happy new year!

TK Breed, I did read the post before my own, I’m not a moron. I was just saying that if any Genres could be added (which they can’t) by anyone, that Techno and Trance would be apt choices.

we CAN’T add new genres… I’m going to speak to Synth about re-organizing the current genres… possibly combining Hip Hop and Funk into 1 genre, so that there is an open spot for a Dance2.
beyond that, our options are to put Dance songs into Misc OR keep filling up Dance.

O.o;; its an interesting song, I dont think the step file goes the best with the song, but its a fun stepfile, and an idea I had while playin the song (i play better when I dont think about the songs O.o;; ) Why don’t you make two different dance pages, like dance 1, then dance 2… or make easy dance, hard dance, etc. Just tryin to give ya a few ideas, and have fun with more songs ^-^;; c yaz

Is there something in your file blocking you from creating a new genre? cause you said you physically can’t add it. But anyways, Misc is my favorite genre so im not complaining about more songs being put in it
