Summer FFR Merchandise. Ideas Anyone?

Now that it is officially on it’s way to being scorching hot here in Chicago, I thought it would be useful to see what you guys were looking to have stocked in the FFR Store. Sure we have quite a few t-shirt designs and a vinyl stickers and all that.. but… What kind of products do you want to see besides those? If you guys can think of anything and the demand is there, I will have it made. I don’t care what the idea is. The idea could be custom Rubik’s cubes or underwear or fishing poles. Lets hear some ideas and I will get the ball moving to get them produced.
Don’t be scared to shout out your ideas. Think of this as kind of a large scale brainstorming session.

I’d buy a custom blueish keyboard with the FFR logo, and added space for the arrow keys.
Or a t-shirt that didnt have the design centered, maybe one near the bottom left section.

A blue Keyboard that is good with FFR, such as being able to hit triples, being really easy to press buttons, etc. A mousepad. Maybe a FFR desktop background for free. FFR trunks. Backpacks (really want). Towels. A cd with all the FFR songs for stepmania($9.99).A FFR shirt with “thechild is good at FFR” and I’d buy it 700.00 dollars! Thats all I can think of.

Dude the best idea i thought of…. A shirt that says if you cant take the heat, dont play ffr cuz every girl wants a scorching hot ffr guy. Well not really the best but i thought it was funnier than if you were a pokemon, baby id choose you. and the fact it has nothing to do with ffr… maybe an ffr belt buckle or FFR patches for backpacks and hats etc

Wow dude, you could put a logo on a lot of things. Hats, stickers,towels, bandanas (or headbands), temporary tatoos I guess,shorts, bikinis, necklaces or dogtags or whatever, mouse pad would be kool, posters is even kooler, pillowcases, bedding, miniature figurines, lighters(no i dont smoke!just a pyro),oh and some type of ring or bracelet whould be kool too,shoes,drinking cups, theres a small list of stuff, tell me what you think.

FFR custom keyboard (with expanded and sectioned-off arrow key area)

FFR gloves (different types for 2- or 4-finger players)
FFR computer speakers (for hearing all the awesome FFR tunes)

FFR controllers (basically just a small keyboard with only the arrow keys)

I was wondering if you could code an ffr R1 version that will work on a PSP!!
I can attempt to play the Low rez version on my psp browser but My psp can’t handle the load. I would freeze up after the genre menu shows up.
I just think it would be so awesome to be able to lie down on my couch and use my wireless router to play some ffr on my psp.. (no, I’m not fat haha)

anyone playing ffr on psp in a public place from a wireless source will be sure to attract attention… and more free and widescale promotion! it’ll be sexy beyond reason.

I’d LOVE to play FFR while drinking some beer (in a FFR glass) or coffee (in a FFR coffee mug)or smoking a cigarette that I’d lit with a FFR lighter (mmmh….it would be hard to play while smoking though lol). Of course I ‘d be sitting in the middle of TONS of arrow shaped FFR pillows (blue, yellow, red and green) and playing with the FFR keyboard that never misses a single arrow

Maybe a CD with an installable and updatable version of FFR, playable offline and online.
Another idea, but harder to do, would be making FFR Custom Dance Pads, just like PS ones, maybe compatible with PCs. You could use just the same arrow buttons than the ones used in FFR R1. It’s totally possible to do… But harder, probably. (There are several web pages with every step to create a home made dance pad).

I don’t feel like reading everyone else’s posts, so my idea would be an FFR keyboard. One that is specifically designed to make it easier to play FFR. For instance, I usually need my keyboard propped up in the back, so the high props would be nice. Maybe a cushion in front of the arrows. And, of course, the FFR logo all over the keyboard with a button made so you can press it and be immediately connected to this site. Any takers?

Yo honestly I take those thin gloves and cut the fingers off of them, and slide them on my fingers when I play, It helps to decrease friction on the keys when your doing fast songs, especially for 1 handers like me. but maby have some of those with like an ffr logo and that would be effin sick i would totally buy some.

The first thing I thought of was towels, like beach towels. I think the FFR logo would look great on a beach towel, some rising arrows along the towel would look awesome as well. Even if its all just black and white.

An FFR touch pad. Instead of hitting “keys” you can just tap the little icons. So its more accurate (dont have to push any keys down) and you don’t have to hit it as hard.

how about you take something like the DDR machine…
condense it down into something smaller…like a smaller scale…and have the ffr songs on it, with your fingers.
So it would be like 1/50th scale of the ddr machine…
Say…maybe 16 inches tall, and its got its own screen, batteries,and a drive inside capable with usb to dl music and files to play the songs. And you could buy/dl the songs straight from the ffr website.

But people, let’s be realistic, any “merch” would only distract us from “the great game” (FFR). If we had things to waste our time on, such as the “cube of Satan” (Rubik’s cube), it would take away from our FFR time. I fully support the FFR crews’ attempt to make some fash cash; but if you remember what the great catholic reverand Henry Jerimiah (the non-pedofile one) said, “Build the church and they will come”. This can be easily applied to FFR by simply subtracting the word “church” and replacing it with the word “totally badass game”. You don’t need fancy gimics and flashy impulse items (by the way – FFR LIVESTRONG BANDS), all you need is to keep FFR running and keep up the improvinginizations on it. Thanks for your time. ok, i thought of these at like 3:00am last night, so i don’t know how good they’ll be, but:
for the personalized t-shirts, make them long-sleeved and black, put the skill finger on front and the website, then on the left sleeve put the username in big letters all the way up the arm, on the back put the user stats (i.e. overall rank, games played, total points and be sure to put the time/date of the stats since they change so often, then AAA’s) then on the left sleeve put a bunch of different colored arrows (screenshot from some crazy song like pants or something)….
Another t-shirt idea is just have a plan shirt with “i survived summer flashing” then the website

I would definitely buy an FFR Shirt that said…

BACK: All of the MODs and then (if space) The Logo

a 4 pad keyboard type thing right each key is 3×3 inches and its set up like a ddr pad. so you can play with ur whole hand. its a little less confusing. i should make one myself….YES!
