Francisco Alejandro Gutierrez (more familiarly known as Franky Gee), a member of Captain Jack, passed away on October 22nd, 2005. So it has been exactly 7 years since his death today.
His awesome music on DDR certainly influenced us, so we decided to put a song by him in the game for a week. CAPTAIN JACK (GRANDALE REMIX), definitely one of the most significant and memorable songs of Captain Jack, is now playable in Dance genre.

sorry i mean this in the nicest way possible. but FFR sometimes you just shock me with the shit you do the vet status isn’t even if your a vet just if you play profusely and now this why even bother putting the song in the just for a week? that makes no sense why not just leave it in? def RIP c-jack just saying the choices you guys make (ffr staff etc) is just seriously bogus. either way it’s not to bad cause the song is like REALLY off beat so guess it’s not that bad that it’s only in for a week but still just the point is why put something in just for like a time span to just take it out but w/e works i guess FFR just went downhill after that long period where the site was down. it came back up and boom just shit now lol half your vet’s haven’t even been playing for a long time(year wise etc) they just play alot thats not being a vet thats just being a nerd who has no life and can play a game 24/7 a vet is someone who has been playing since say DAY ONE regardless of their skill but again thats ffr’s logic for you

SHO666, please inform yourself better before you write those sort of comments. The song Captain Jack is an old stepchart only temporarily released for this commemorative event. The community here keeps this tradition to pay respect to a well-known DDR artist, Frankie Gee. Please take your ill-informed complaints elsewhere.

The release of “Captain Jack” is a special event and not a real song release, and one week release is adequate for a song we don’t have permission, as we’ve done in the past. By the way, this is not a place to talk about Veteran system itself.

I could have sworn there was a big issue about putting this song up in the past. I remember playing it and it was taken down to the family of captain jack getting upset or something like that -_-. Good to see it back for a bit. Going to play it now! RIP CPT.JACK
