Songs Of The Week (Mar 1, 2011)

Posted in Flash Flash Revolution on March 1st, 2011

Hate to interrupt your daily keysmashing routine, but there’s four new songs for you guys to play.

Badinerie by J.S. Bach, stepped by Bluearrowll — (G) Classical; (D) 8; (L) 1:18;
Champion Freeverse by Tonedeff, stepped by who_cares973 — (G) Hip-Hop; (D) 9; (L) 2:12;
Fly away -mix del matador-, stepped by bmah — (G) Purchased [1,500]; (D) 9; (L) 2:11;
Jamais Deux, stepped by DossarLX ODI — (G) Secret [55,000]; (D) 12; (L) 1:47;

Didn’t get enough of a piano fix last week with who_cares973′s chart for Waltz in the Rain? Maybe a dosage of true classical music can settle you addicts down. Badinerie, by J.S. Bach, has entered FFR’s classical genre today, coming with a somewhat tricky chart that pushes 32nd note bursts out at 126 BPM, enough to challenge the mid-level keysmashers clawing their way to the top. Chart is by Bluearrowll, his first in game, congratulations to him! Those of you hunting for the chart’s location will find it in the Classical genre.

How many of you remember the last time Tonedeff has had a song in game? If you’ve been clearing out your scores for the old legacy songs, you might have run into Shag at some point. Tonedeff makes a new apperance on FFR with one of our newest releases, Champion Freeverse. If you’re tired of dealing with the same old monotonous songs with perfect quantization, you’ll enjoy this colorfest of rap lyrics. Chart is by who_cares973, and it’s not quite his first, but we can congratulate him as well. You’ll find this in the Hip-Hop genre.

How many of you guys own a copy of DDR Supernova? For all of you who do, you might recognize this song. The original Fly Away made its debut in the popular home version of DDR, and this remix now makes it onto FFR with a fairly technical chart, featuring some mini-jacks and interesting jump patterns to strung together. This release is stepped by bmah, and you’ll find it in the purchased genre, for a small price of 1,500 credits.

Kkrusty fans are going to get a challenge this time around with this new release. Jamais Deux is our newest addition to the Secret genre, and unlike our other three releases, this chart boasts some massive difficulty, throwing some 240 BPM 16th note patterns with some jumps thrown in the mix as well. Good luck scoring well on this file, you guys are gonna need it. Chart is by DossarLX ODI. In order to play it, you’re going to need 55,000 credits in your bank.

Back to your keysmashing, all of you.

  5. Jamais feels more like an FMO.

  11. ^One could only wish that it was THAT Fly Away =P nonetheless the songs are awesome and I agree with Razor, Jamais feels like a high FMO to me…MAYBE a low FGO, still a fun file though =3

  12. i personally think Champion Freeverse is a 10 but it was a really nice song

  13. I have a question…why “Jamais Deux” is in the secret song but revealed credits requirement?

  14. I’m surprised that Fly away -mix del matador- make it way here.
    Because it’s also an official DDR song (yes i’m talking about the remix).

  15. @PanStyle: that is because this one on FFR is a remix of the remix – but the song name is the same. The remix on DDR was made by Shawn the Horny Master.

  16. The chart for Champion Freeverse is win.
