Songs of the Week and Weekly Update 3/11/2022
Welcome to another Song Release and Weekly Update for March! We have two new artists to talk about this week and a ridiculous AAA milestone as well!
Earlier this year a bounty was placed on getting the 1st AAA on Death Piano, with all progress tracked in the Death Piano AAA Bounty thread. This week the bounty was completed by jakads, with his winnings totaling at a whopping $1261.69! Huge congrats to jakads and a special thanks to those that contributed towards the bounty prize! You can find the YouTube video on the AAA below:

For those that are interested in the history of Death Piano and the score progression that led up to the AAA, you can check it all out in the recently created thread: Death Piano: A History of the chart and the current AAA.
The 2 veteran files we have for you today are:
Satin City
Musician: kgb525
Step Artist: M0nkeyz
Song Length: 2:13
Difficulty: 67

Excerpt from kgb525′s website:
“Karl Brueggemann is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and instructor based in Minneapolis, MN. His unbreakable connection to strong groove and memorable melody is present in everything he does. Whether it’s composing or performing, his music is rhythmic, exciting and imaginative.
Karl is now very active in the twin cities music scene, leading the funk-fusion band Karl B & the Soul Surgeons. He also composes original music for video games along with his brother Will, under the moniker Super Marcato Bros. They also host a podcast, which brings to light the legitimacy of game music as an art form. They have been featured panelists at MAGFest and Gamer’s Rhapsody.”
You can follow kgb525 at their Spotify, YouTube, Twitter, and Battle of the Bits.
Chapter VIII (Pacifier)
Musician: Sufferer
Step Artist: Skayles
Song Length: 3:35
Difficulty: 77

Excerpt from Sufferer’s Spotify page:
“Comprised of members from A Lot Like Birds, Hail The Sun, and I The Mighty, Sufferer is a “heavy” band, but only as heavy as the subject material; the band’s self-titled release details a day in the life of a Sufferer, from his panic immediately upon waking to the moment his brain finally shuts off at the end of his day. To help guide the narrative, three vocalists (portraying the Subject, his Anxiety, and his Depression) are heard screaming over each other, arguing for control, and at other times singing through moments of helpless soliloquy.”
You can follow Sufferer at their Bandcamp, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
And for Non-Veteran players, these songs have went public:
Thornmail
Musician: Pentakill
Step Artist: storn42
Song Length: 3:42
Difficulty: 74
Kababies
Musician: Infected Mushroom
Step Artist: Psychotik
Song Length: 4:36
Difficulty: 80
Enjoy!
