Note on Yahoo! Email Accounts

We’ve been having issues with Yahoo email accounts recently… nothing we send (email verifications, password resets, etc) has been going through to Yahoo; not even into Spam. We’re working on fixing this, but I figured I’d let everyone know that if you’re having a problem and have Yahoo, this is why.

I’ve been having the same problem but I use Comcast. Anyone other Comcast users not getting emails?

yeah, yahoo is very slow with some things. my hotmail account gets ffr notificatons literally 2 seconds after they happen on the game. theres also this other game i play which takes about a day for it to come on yahoo. meh

another website’s server I’m working with has been having trouble with all microsoft emails (@hotmail, @live, @msn, etc), pretty lucky you guys are only having trouble with yahoo.

Downvoting for no reason is really stupid.
ANYWAY, how does this affect us? I thought that the only thing we used ANY e-mails is for is to register (well, that and for Tass to tell us about our queue files, which I dunno if he does anymore.). Someone else mind clarifying for me?

TC_Halogen, another thing we use the emails for is for activating profiles. When I went and changed my email address here, the confirmation never made it to my yahoo email account. Without that confirmation I was no longer able to edit my profile, post in the forums, and I think it wouldn’t let me into profile chat. (But I’m not sure on that last one) I hope that gives you a general idea of how it affects users.

I was wondering if this is still a problem? if it is, could someone notify me when this is resolved because I’ve been trying to get one of my best buddies an account on FFR but he uses a Yahoo and STILL hasn’t recieved ANY confirmation emails to activate his profile.:(

It’s not just yahoo. I haven’t gotten any registration email with either of my two gmail accounts, and as such can’t really do much.

I’m having this same problem with gMail…
i signed up 2 days ago and i haven’t revieced my confirmation email yet. I also sent a email to the support email thing of ffr. Nothing back from that yet either. It’s the correct email because i did get the confirmation of a challenge i sent to a friend. If anyone can help me…i would greatly appreciate it.
