New Subscriber Features This Week
It was discussed and decided in the subscriber forum yesterday that we will be developing 2 new features.
In game key mapping: Allows you to set whatever keys you wish to play FFR. It will automatically save this configuration for you.
Screencutting Tool: For those pros who like to screencut, this will provide a quick and easy way for you to set the screencut position in the game without having to mess around with windows and browser resizing. It will be a preference that is saved for each time you play.
These features will initially only be available to subscribers while they are being developed and tested.
Thanks again to everyone who is a subscriber and helps support this site. You guys make everything possible.

There will most likely be additional features and bugfixes rolled into that update as well. These things always become more complicated than planned.

Oh man, I wish I had the money to be a subscriber. And yes I know it’s only $3.50 o month, but I’m already paying for so much, I just can’t handle ANY more.

Regarding screencutting:
Just make it in place of sudden and change sudden to literally suddenly appear rather than fade in.

How am I whinnying? I asked a simple question. Maybe I can’t subscribe because my MOTHER won’t let me use her C.C for online games. I can’t even buy an Xbox live Subscription, the only way I get to play online is by buying a 1 year at Best Buy. Make sure that you can use both speed mods and the screencutting, because I like to play 1.25x with a screencut.

I’ve tried screen cutting before, it doesn’t do anything but make me jumble up in how sudden the arrows appear. Non-screen cutting is best for me.
As for key-mapping, I finally got that program that does it for you, so I am now doing even better on ffr because of that. In-game key-mapping would be a great addition though
saves me the time to have to open up the program.

It probably wont come out to non-subscribers for a while, the big thing that subscribers had going for them was the speed mods, and since that’s public, Synth has to give them some other sort of advantage over non-subscribers.

awsome this is great because I screen cut and my screen size is reset every time I shut down, and I haven’t been able to switch to spread because I can’t install the program, great idea synth

Ok, the key mapping thing is pretty awesome, but the screencutting is pretty much obsolete since speed mods were released.
