no, i’m fairly sure it’s on. i.e. the fourth of july falls ‘on’ tuesday, not ‘in’ tuesday.

‘on’ would be for a specific day. you are correct, which is why you can see in the main post, “Songs released on Jun 1, 2011″. since there are multiple days in a month, ‘in’ is used to show they were released during one of those days within the month.
you wouldn’t say your television is ‘on’ your house. your house has an inside, so that’s why you say your television is ‘in’ your house.
