I am sure many of you have noticed the new layout that we activated yesterday. It is currently a work in progress. We would like to know your suggestions on what you think would be helpful for the home page. Would you like to see more of your stats? Other people’s stats? Stats of the last 10 games played? Let us know, we are looking for ideas and now have the room to implement them.

i like the new layout and i idea of the last 10 played games thing well i have an i idea of my own u guys should make a new try thing and have it so like the top 5 or 10 people get some money not a lot just like a couple dollars you know well if i come up with anything else i will tell you

Synlight i really like this layout my suggetion is that, more stats would be good, but i want a place where people can search for stats on home page.

very cool but there is no link to the homepage. everything else is pretty nice though. me gusta mucho.

I like the layout, I think we should be able to see improvement over time, like a chart, that shows rank improvement or unimprovement, and will take the rank on the last day of each week, either the average, or the current on that day, so you get a week-to-week update on your progress, and if only for the top 1500 people or somethign like that, that would still be great! If that would be possible, i think it would be a great addition to the already great FFR website and game.

As everyone else said, awesome job on the new layout. And the only suggestion I have in mind was already stated; an average rank system would be nice, one that’s not determined by points. X|

I think the buttons at the top should be a bit bigger, and is there a way to have the game screen the same as before the new size? Because I have to make the window smaller to screenshrink and it bugs me somehow.

The week to week thing was actually pretty kewl as derek said.
It would be nice to see the rank stuff even though it’s not very important,
But as to all the new people it would be a killer thing to see you going up.down in rank.

It’s pretty good, except for now I have to scroll over to see the forum posts. I think putting the nav buttons back to the bigger blue ones and un-linking the FFR banner at the top would be a bit better though.

I don’t really like the location of the last updated profiles. It should be moved to the left, just under the FFR Mirrors area.

I would like to have an updated ranking system on the main page. Well, it would be nice anyway. Also nothing to do with this, but what if whoever the top 10 players are get admin. So for example if someone takes the 10th rank, they would automatically get admin.

Also, if possible I think there should be an upgrade on profiles. So things could be easier I think the Information Table about the person should change. Like people could make up their own questions and then have their own answers. Instead of having questions all the same to everyone.

The stats on the top-right corner of the homepage haven’t updated for me yet…I have 14,600 credits but it says I have 13,632 (From yesterday)
How often does it update?

If there is enough space it would be nice to show the full statistics on our best songs. So in our levelrank.php we could have even further links for each song that shows our perfects, goods, averages, misses, and boo’s for that song too. Each song name could be a link that lead to that page and everything else would be the same, or you could make a small rightward pointed arrow next to the song and score so that you can just click on that arrow and the arrow would point down and the rest of the stats would show below the title of the song similar to the style older Macs(g3 or less) use. It would really be great if all the songs were recorded like that but I doubt there’s enough space for that. Also I think the week-to-week rank chart was an interesting idea.

A list of the active players who have been here the longest could be made in a thread in the forums, since it probably doesn’t change very often. Depends how long their last game ago would be considered active, I guess.
Anyway, I really like the new stats on the homepage, and here are a few other things I wouldn’t mind seeing:
The 10 most recent games played.
The 10 most recent AAAs.
The 10 most recent non-AAA scores that still made the top 10. rofl at this making it easy to see new cheated scores.
I also do think it wouldn’t hurt to have the buttons somewhat bigger.
That’s all I can think of for now.

i really want to see in my profie or some place the full list of games all the songs and what rank i am at it and how many times i played it and you can put it in order from low to high and most played and also make a list of most played songs and the avarage score for it
like “trip to the moon” — has been played **** times and is number *** in popolarity and 10% of peopole full score it and 25% full combo it and the avarge score for the song is ***** do like that . that you can look at all the songs quick and easy and know all about it of yourself and ohters
that way you could easly see if you are above avagre and stuff like that

I have not seen a place to find your ranking as it applies near you… like this:
1045 – wompabear – 856,453,109
1046 – theredthing – 854,234,095
1047 – someotheruser – 851,092,576
1048 – {current user} – 849,213,583
1049 – gettingbored – 845,123,904
1050 – ofmakingnames – 839,123,456
It could go maybe 5 or ten up, and 5 or ten down.. this could make it easier to find out how fast you can move up in the rankings by playing certain songs.
Please tell me if there is one of these somewhere too

do like a flash animation like a graph and you pick the song the graph pop up and there are lots of lines and your line on the graph is diffrent color and you can see how close your are to the top and the graph will be from all the games played on that song it will be nice to see like in the hard songs there will be a hard spike at the top end for the few playres that can play it

I forgot to mention, I think the updated profiles list should be moved over to the left sidebar. If everything would be in one column, like the left side, that would look better I think. (As opposed to the right side which has two columns right beside eachother)

when you play the game it should show a list of highscores near your highscore kind of like when you are in the top ten but does like five above and below your score so you can see how much better you need to do to raise your rank.
also where did beethoven virus go? i cant find it in the game.

total stats would be a nice thing. Also I would like to see how my challenges went. so u should try something so after u challenge someone and they play the song, u should be able to look and see the stats

There should be a button that links directly to profiles, and not just profiles and general.
I hate having to go through all that clicking just to get to mine. Not really, but It would be nice.
