There are a long list of bug fixes and feature updates. I am really short on time this morning so I will have to edit this news story later to show you all the updates. One I think the public will love is.. well.. scrollrate changes! Go check out the settings tab!

I will never have to fear starting 2:00 minutes late on multiplayer. That got annoying when some songs I started when the other player was about to finish. I actually load the songs before I play!

Although speed mods are an excellent addition, it seems that the new version of the game is extremely slow – I’ve only gotten one song to load in the last 10 minutes.

The website is lagging because of bandwidth issues! As soon as everyone downloads the new FFR; then the bandwidth issue will lighten up. Just hold tight for another couple hours.

New patches do tend to take a while to circulate. After that last subscription giveaway however, I think people will be in a hurry to get back on FFR.

P.S. I can finally play a song before I load it. That kind of goes bad on Multiplayer when it detects me as loading the song when I am on 0% then I don’t get to start until my opponent is 2 minutes into the song.

Yeah, I play on another online game. They do their weekly updates on times where the least amount of players are on (About 60k people) so they can maintain their bandwidth to have a smoother gameplay for when the other 170k people decide to play later in the day

I gave it a try for a few games, but I find I do better just screencutting. FFR isn’t too accurate, sync-wise. It’s really not that bad, but some songs are really off. By using speed modifiers, it makes the player rely more on what they see than before, which I find gets screwey on the older, or poorly sync’d songs.
By the way, what’s up with the Harry Potter remix? It’s either REALLY poorly sync’d (As in, 10 seconds off) or poorly stepped. The notes don’t seem to go with the song at all, beyond the odd coincidence.

Plays like a completely different game. The bug fixes are awesome, and the 1.25 scrollrate helps me play about 500 times better.

It was fun having a subscription right before speed mods, but now I think its ok. I use Screen Shrink more on 1x but thanks for the Mods in public.

I never used to get above a 3xx combo on Max Forever, and 1.25 speed got me a 977. The arrow spacing really helps
