New Features To The Subscriber Beta FFR

I put together this little video to show off the new features of the Beta version of FFR:
-New sexy graphics
-Better in-genre navigation
-FC/AAA graphics in-game
-Combo/Accuracy masking
Any suggestions for other things we should work on adding? If you feel these features are as sexy as I do, subscribe!

lol, the token thing needs to be edited. It is kinda hard to see.
But more people need to subscribe!!! Pretty sad he needs to show the subbie features to get you to subscribe. lol.

Hey, you guys added the ever-popular “in-game FC / AAA icon” suggestion. Good call, guys, good call. I also laughed at “so, screw you guys.” Love your videos, Tass.
Once the icons become retroactive, I’m sure a lot of people will be really happy.

You forgot to mention 2.25x and 2.5x speed mods. 2.0x is too slow for me now, and I’m forced to use the beta version if I want good scores.

Could possibly stay subscriber only… the game’s perfectly playable in full, necessary functionality for free. These BETA features are pretty spiffy, but missing out on them won’t cost you any accessibility to the game’s levels and rankings. I can see it staying subscriber only, at least for quite a while.

A question for anyone who might know. I had subscribtion for about a year and a half, but now i can’t get subscribe again for various reasons. So, does anyone know when this feature might be out for non-subscribers?

Ahhh eeeep eeeeek oh rapture, I might not be able to wait for this to all go public.
I’ll definitely have been hired by some establishment or another by May. Hopefully, I’ll be subscribing soon!
..Any scintillating teaser info on when these features might be expected to come out of the FFR closet?
And just as a little p.s. to let everyone else know just how kind and helpful Tass really is, I’d like to take this bandwidth and thank Tass for his saint-like patience in helping me through the FFR file submission process. The e-mail I had send to him ages ago was sent directly to his spam folder for some ungodly reason, but he took time from his busy day-to-day just for little ol’ Jaja.

I have a suggestion, maybe a “Favorite” button or something, and a category to go with it, so users can access their favorite songs all in one tab?

I like it. Not too impressed because I was expecting a big change to the style (lol emboss + drop shadow), but I like it. I’m just not feeling the new “columns” though. It looked alot more appealing the old way, with a bigger clicking area, but that’s just me. +1 for 2.25x speed mod. =)

Might I suggest “Take Me Back” by KaW for a new FFR menu song? Works nicely for ITG2.. and FFR has a ton of songs from ITG anyway, so I figured it would probably be a cool change :]

last time i played it was my old XP system few months back
it could be time having its effect on me seeing stuff differently but currently im having a hard time even playing throw a song without getting all kinds of little freezes and lags

Hey, as far as “any other suggestions?” goes, I have a suggestion. How about some sort of a chime when people enter a multiplayer room? I played MP for the first time yesterday and wasn’t really thrilled that I had to sit and stare at the screen until someone entered the room (which sometimes wasn’t for quite a while) XD

make an unload button for multiplayer…. and make it to where in multiplayer, when they select a song, you can click their circle and it will auto load that song for you so you don’t have to go searching for it

As far as other additions, I still believe the alternate scoring is a good idea. By alternate scoring, I mean replacing the score at the bottom of your game, to an P/G/A/M/B (judgment) counter. Been mentioned several times, and I think it’s a good opportunity to throw the idea out again. Obviously, make this optional if you consider it.

honestly…. the only thing you really MUST add next, the option to have the ffr background music ON/OFF. its quite annoying logging on to see if anyone wants to play multiplayer and having both ffr background music and music of my own playing. happens everytime.
