Merry FFR Christmas
Well, I hope Santa was good to everyone out there. If not, you can find comfort in the fact that FFR Santa spent an obscene amount of money on a new server here at FFR so that everyone can play FFR and use the site without slowdowns and disconnects. This new badboy brings an additional 16GB of ram to FFR and is a dedicated MySQL database server with plenty of 15k rpm drives. Did I mention any additional 4 cores? yup, we should have atleast a year before we outgrow this one.
Enjoy your vacations and happy holidays to everyone. While we should be fully switched and setup, please report any strange bugs that you find while we migrate to this new server.
Did everyone enjoy the 12 days of FFRMas? Comments? Suggestions?

some of the stepfiles play slower than the actual songs,making it off beat to some songs that aren’t..idk if it’s just me but i thought i would mention it.:]

I love you for doing what you’ve done.
Spending/wasting? your time on making what is nao called FFR. I would of made a nice letter but i’m lazy just want to say that i love you for everything you have done and all the changes ffr has gone through in the last year.

well i used to be able to play FFR then i couldnt then i could for a couple weeks and now i cant get on it now unless i go through Usatunnel.com which doesnt let me play the game or anything

Need.. More.. Songs..
I loved the constant release of new music, kept me from getting tired of the same stuff over and over. The more often you come out with new songs, the better.

I thought Carol Megamix was horrible in every way possible, but some of the songs were great. Come With Me worked, Kick It worked, Horizon was awesome and Play It Funky wasn’t all that bad.
Just….. Carol Megamaix wasn’t a very good song and the stepfile was 10 times as horrible. But the news about the server is awesome! Bless the cool guy who spent the money on that.

I liked that whole thing. That was cool. Especially the Carol Megamix, even though I can’t concentrate on the song cause of the steps, its still a good sim file. Haha. Good Job, Happy Holidays, and hope thats not all the FFR Santa brought you guys

um…synthlight?uh, im experiencing slowdown and stopping errors with ffr.
i was playing palindrome and it just stopped on me. then it went straight to the menu. could you fix this problem please?

Yay, I no longer have to try loading a page in 3 different mirrors before it will come up! It also has stopped giving me the server is too busy message. This saves me a lot of time. Gj Synth, Tass, Chardish, Shash, Rebirth, and whoever else helped with this.

The twelve days were awesome!
Now if only I could get those 16GB of ram for myself…and the rest of it, WOW that’s alot. If you had a desktop with that, you’d never need to upgrade..for 10 years or so.

killernoob: 512 MB is the minimum required ram for vista (2007). 32 MB of ram was nearly standard back in 1997. 10 year difference. I.e. (32 ^ 2) / 2 MB -> (512 ^ 2) / 2 MB = 131,072 MB or 128 GB — only 1/8 the RAM, going by my math.
