FFRMas 2016: Day 3
On the third day of Christmas, FFRMas gave to me…
…the first DM Ashura song in over 8 years! (Holy what?)
I was surprised to see this myself. I had to double-check numerous times to make sure that I wasn’t in fact missing a whole bunch of songs, but it’s true – the last time we’ve seen a song composed by DM Ashura on FFR was back in 2008, when bluguerilla’s chart fof Vanity Angel was released. If you were looking for a break from yesterday’s release, you will most certainly be getting it with this one. DarkZtar did a really nice job with pattern selection to keep the song accessible to our Advanced-tier players and lower, while keeping it somewhat interesting for our higher level players by bringing some tastefully placed mini-jacks, bursts, and occasionally heavier layering.
