FFR Credit Adjustment
Ok, as you guys know we changed the way the shop works in order to prevent an exploit. Today however, by the time you read this, we will have run a script that will auto-adjust your credits to what they should be. So if you had cheated credits that somehow filtered their way down to you, they will be gone. We are keeping full transactions of the changes and know exactly how we have changed each of the more than 1 million accounts.

EDIT: If you received very large amounts of credits through credit transfer or through challenges, those may be gone as well. They were most likely not legit. Since we can’t really verify which credits were cheated and which ones weren’t, there’s really no way around this…regrettable, but necessary in order to give the credit system some actual meaning. -Shash

if we were going to get more than 25 max, then the prices of the songs would just go up proportionally.

Dhot, you have every credit that you earned legit. Your 300,000+ credits were not legit according to your almost 100 challenges. Even if the person that earned them cheated and gave them to you, it’s stolen merchandise.

I will double post to make my point clear. If you received credits from someone that were cheated credits in any way, those credits are gone. Play the game right and don’t accept large amounts of credits for nothing in return.

Honestly, if there was no such thing as cheated credits, it’s highly doubtful that many people at all would be able to afford giving anyone tens of thousands of credits.

well…after I recieved like 8,000 from MRTL_mrclean17 I bought all shop items…then had alot…so gave them to my friend iTaLiAnGuRl4LiFe cuz she was broke… then I relized about secret songs…then I found my favorite song Lethal injection….I played hard and made only 700 now my hard work is gone…Its OK…but can I recieve enough for Lethal Ijection…cuz I worked my butt off… and I only made one challenge to iTaLiAnGuRl4LiFe…but she was dumb and never realized it so I want my favorite song back…

I gave 75,000 credits to my girlfriend and they’re gone from both of our accouts…I have 16,000 credits and she has 30,000 or something like that.
I never cheated, but was given 8,000,000 credits by Tass so I could test songs before they were released to the public.
I guess nothing can be done to give me the 75,000 back..

The increased credit maximum per song is staying permanently. There will be a news update about it fairly soon.
Also, people complaining about losing credits: Shut up. Unless you spread your credits around on multiple accounts, you currently have EXACTLY how many credits you would have had you actually earned them all through playing.
I’ll ask Synth if we can give some partial compensation to the people who legitimately gave their credits away only to have them lost today…but don’t expect much.

According to the rules, you are allowed only 1 account on FFR for this reason. I will not giving credits to people who may have lost them from combined accounts or from friends who magically gave them millions of credits.

i think this was actually a very good idea, that exploit was cheating, and if somethings not legit, it needs to be gotten rid off, cheating is not cool…

hmmm…interesting. To all complainers…live with it its a game. and to Synth, your a BEAST! the credits thing was way out of hand. I dont play much but someone gave me a bunch and it really wasnt that big of a deal. Also, the updates you did to some scripts are awesome. I’m not sure but it was by accident, but i didnt know if you pressed up and down that it would change pages! You also fixed that glitch where songs are replaced when you change pages. This game is near perfect. I havent had time to test, but is there still the glitch with the random hidden arrows? That is the ONLY thing i can find wrong with this site. Nice job all! >.

this is not the first but SECOND TIME my account was wrongly abused. The first time you reset my games played and yada yada, plus my credits- and now once again, when yes- I DID ask someone to give me 15k to enable myself to play all the secret songs again, you gotta start cracking down on all the people who just want to play. the credit system is ridiculous, come up with something better.

Perhaps you guys don’t understand this, but the secret/purchased songs are REWARDS for playing FFR a lot. You are in no way ENTITLED to being able to play them. The credit system is there to encourage you to play more FFR. Before you could circumvent this incredibly easily. Now you can’t. DEAL WITH IT.

Hm, sounds like everyone complaining woke up on the wrong side of the bed! seriously though, even if those large amounts of credits GIVEN to you by someone else were legit, you souldn’t be complaining, you got em for free, think about all the time that person must have been playing to earn those credits themselves anyways providing they were legit, so if you guys are gunna b1tch b1tch at the cheaters. I dont really care anyways, someone gave me bout 4-5k credits a few months ago and i didnt lose any of em and if i did i wouldn’t care cus i really need to get back into this game

I find it sad…these people who complain.
Free credits given to you…and you lost them? Big Deal. EARN THEM. If they were cheated and given to you, well you shouldn’t care. Do you really want to hold cheated credits?
And if they were legit? The other guy earned them, not you, so suck it up and earn them yourself.
“OMG I LOST 200k!” whatever figure goes in there…I’m sick hearing it. Who gives, nobody. You play the game because you like it, and if you don’t want to go back and earn credits that were cheated and given into your account…too bad.
The fuss will do nothing. Live with it, grow up, and if you truly “kick enough awz to have that many credits” continue going to kick awz and show that those credits were well earned, and your willing to go back and get it again.
STaff, good job taking out the cheaters exploitations of things. Now we just have to handle the after affects and all is a-ok to the community as a whole.

not sure if you’re actually giving credits back for ones that can be verified as legit. but I had an old account that I can still get onto and I transfered at least 6k from that account. Not that I’m complaining just wondering if I can get them back since I can prove that it was from my old account to my new one.

the reason people are mad is because they (ffr) let something be abused for months, then suddenly were all arms and confronted it by stripping and short changing everyone- with a few lucking out and still being able to partially keep what they earned.

It doesn’t matter if you didn’t cheat to get those credits, all cheated credits will be eliminated. EVEN IF someone just sent those to you randomally, or your friend gave them to you.
Also, having more then one accounts that you openly use is illegal. Just don’t do it.
And I can’t see that all you people who say you got them “legit” really did. If we could get a top list of legit credit count that would be nice. Wait…is there? Maybe i’m just not looking in the right places

First of all, I haven’t ever cheated credits, so shut the fuck up about it. I made a new account and xfered the credits that I had off of my other one, about 17k, from playing that account for a year. Im just upset because those are earned credits, not cheated, and now there gone. So can someone just fix it I mean seriously…20k credits just dosent disappear and Im all happy about it.

Woo hoo. I’d have to say I’ve pretty much lost the most. Wonderful. Freakin’ wonderful. Because some idiot cheaters well… cheated, tons of people lots credits.
I had 207752 credits (about)
I now have 6163. Awsome. Especially since I got them from tons of games played, 2 challenges (10k tops), and NO credit transfers. So I lost over 200 thousand credits become SOME people cheated, while I did not? What’s next? Mp levels reset to 1?

If other people did not earn the creditlegit , and were distributing it freely…well blame the cheaters I’d say yes.
Because of the cheaters, everyone who is “legit” that got a certain amount of credits “legit” can’t keep the nonlegit credits because people they faced or wherever the cheater started distributed cheated credits out to everyone put more credits into circulation then was supposed to be out.
Ya you might have lost lots of credits garenteed, but fact of the matter is, With so many people playing, and with such a big server as this…there really IS no way a admin will know if your legit or not. They only have your word.
And thats not enough.
Ya it sucks losting credits if you were indeed getting them legit…but fact of the matter is, all the credits deleted that were cheated are going to be gone. They were never meant to exist in the first place.
Tough luck, but don’t blame the staff. They are doing their job, and making sure that cheaters don’t persist to flood this community.
Its because of the cheaters this problem arose in the first place and gave people high hopes for their such and such credit number. Just earn them back.
Think of the credits you were holding as dirty money. Do you REALLY want to keep dirty money you did not know about?
I’d not…because I’d know I could end up in trouble for something I never knew about, and would have no evidence whatsoever to defend myself.
