4th Official Tournament Finished – Over $1,300 Worth in Winnings!
So after over 2 months of brutal competition, the 4th Official Tournament has finally come to a close. Congratulations to our top 3 placers:
Masters

Beginner

These people worked extremely hard to do as well as they did. Many of them improved great amounts to the point where they would even do well in the division above them.
In addition to these people, everyone in the top 8 of each division received the Vertex Beta vROFL token as a prize.
Thanks to all 1520 participants who joined this tournament. Once again it was a fun and memorable experience, and I will expect to see all of you and more in the next one!

And if we did allow staff to win, many would claim it was rigged. It’s just understood that as staff, you can participate but not win. The staff understands that we are doing this for the community and also to interest new people. Anyway, who wants to play and lose to shash in every tournament? It would be a bit discouraging.

But Synth, everybody IS going to play and lose to Shash every tournament. And it doesn’t matter because even if Shash did win, then there would only be a top 7 for prizes, and it wouldn’t affect the person in 9th place or worse.

lol, I’m not going to win every tourney wtf, I won this one by less than half a good’s worth of points and only because it was on the kind of song that my opponent is like the worst at. Laggy is a better player than me.
I don’t care about the prizes anyway, I was in it for the fun and satisfaction. =)

next one… sometime in the future. maybe 4-6 months from now.
and about staff winning… no competition allows its staff or anyone who lives with the staff or is family with the staff to win. read the rules of any giveaway. beyond that, it’s one of those things that a user understands and accepts as part of being an FFR staff member; they won’t be eligible for prizes.
