Tonight if you are a staff member or subscriber, replay recording is working automatically. All games will be stored for playback. You will notice a new build .706 of FFR available.
We are working out the playback bugs right now and will have the public playback utility up as soon as we can tonight.
This thing is so cool!

I’m thinking that a video could still be generated from existing scores, I mean, it would probably throw your goods/avs/misses/boos all randomly throughout the level, but I’m it’s possible.

Well he said he was recording them on some kind of sheet, it’s not being recorded into any kind of media file, that would be FAR too big and unnecessary for the site. Apparently it saves when and what you get for each arrow and recreates it as it you were testing a simfile in an editor with the music.

They’re working on it, good lord give them some faith for a few more hours at least.
Don’t worry, I have faith in Synth and his team. I have a lot of reasons to love FFR, and I’m very thankful it exists. I’m overjoyed just hearing about a recording/playback tool.

It seems to me that all that’s changed in the game music is that it’s been EQ’d to boost the higher frequencies. I have mixed feelings about it, but in general I don’t mind it, it gives it a sharper, clearer sound. I like to think that it draws attention away from the main “melody”, or at least the mid-range frequencies that most dominate the mix. It doesn’t to me seem to have an actual melody, which is why I’d like to see some all-new background music.
Of course, in the grand scheme of things, background music is unimportant. I’d much rather have something like recording/playback.

This is great and everything, but fix the profiles, please. They are frozen and aren’t showing any recent activity – it seems they stopped about 4 hours ago or so. I can’t edit my random thoughts, look at my most recent games played, or update my stats bar (not that I’d want to update it anyways, since 11 of my AAA’s are hacked -_-).

I think I know why the song seem so annoying. Because the bass is not augmented too. So we have the feeling that the song is played from a tweeter.
You should upgrade the bass just alittle and the song will be perfect! !-)
