I Can’t Take The Suspense!!!
Are you guys pumped about Skill Token Month? 62 skill tokens + normal subscriber SotWs + a few special occasion releases… there will be over SEVENTY files released total in July. Even I don’t know the exact count of how many we’ll release!
But… wait…. THERE’S MORE! If you act now, you’ll get a 2nd bottle free! Erm…. I digress.
We’ve been dropping hints, subtle and not-so-subtle (hi LD), saying that we’ll be adding new statistics in the near future. Well, some of them are already coded. Some are still in the works. Those that ARE coded will be released en mass on July 1st, to kick off Skill Token Month with a BANG! You can expect these features:
Top1000 Average Rank (subscriber only)
Top 100 Most AAAs (public, with other cool additions in the future to it)
Some snazzy features within each level’s Game Level Stats, including # of AAAs on the song, number of users who have played the song, total number of gameplays on the song. And eventually, we’ll be adding a Top50 or Top100 of who has played each level the most.
We’re also hammering down a built-in Tier Point system, for those who know what that is. And if you don’t, check out this thread. Big thanks to Summerschool for all his hard work on the Tier Point calculator.
Finally, what I think is the coolest thing ever… cooler than sliced bread even. Or ice. We’ll be putting up an overall FFR GrandTotalScore and Games Played counter. Ever wondered how much grandtotalscore the entire site gains in a day? a month? a year? since the game first started back in 2002? Now you’ll be able to see. For the record, my guess is that the Overall GTS is somewhere around 10 trillion. And overall gameplays is around 500 million.

LD, of course tass’ predictions are way off, 10 trillion/1.25 million members is only 8,000,000 per member, so it’s probably more than that, or about 20,000,000 per member, I’d say, so that would be closer to 25 trillion points, and at an average of 100,000 points per game or so, that would be like 250,000,000 games played. Still probably way off, but it should be a lot closer than what tass came up with.

GOOD IDEA: A daily award for the user who gets the most points in a single day. Displayed in the users profile, “Awarded most points for 3rd July 2007″ With some trophey graphic.
SECOND GOODish IDEA: Another daily award ‘The Lumphoboextreme award’ for most games played also displayed in your profile with apropiate graphic and title.

Will there be a ranking for the top AAA’d songs? I know it will say how many AAAs there’s been for each song. But will there be somewhere you can see which song has the most AAAs?

You could figure that out just from looking at them, especially since you should know which ones to check, the first 20 or so AAAs in your level rank stats, assuming you’ve AAA’d all the easy stuff. A list would be a slight convenience though, and shouldn’t be that hard to do.
