Song of the Week: Omg.. The Highspeeds..

Some of you may have already played this weeks new song of the week by DJ Sharpnel (stepfile by Shashakiro) – Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star. I would give all of you a full review of this song but honestly, it is so advanced that I cannot even come close to finishing it, maybe you can can do better.

Of course a big welcome and thank you guys out to the DJ Sharpnel crew for allowing us the use of this music. Maybe we could use another song in the near future that I am able to complete.

it is truely a great song i think one of my favs in all of ffr we should try to get max infinity on here thats a sweet song too.

YES AFTER 8 TRIES I BEAT THIIS SONG*sigh* but my score was no where near top it was so low and my lag doesnt work anymore so the arrows are super slow once useing that lag(it was on accident not on purpose)i got first place on a song the 3 days later it was gone

This song is very hard for me because I use index. What I like about this song it’s possible to aaa and my speed has improved. Oh and great song too.

haha if you REALLY cant finish it normally might i suggest slamming your fist on the keyboard(my brother was enjoying himself on my ffr account…), it actually gets you through the whole song =)

Oww, my wrists… So many jumpstreams it’s not even funny. And then RED NOTE SYNDROME?!? It’s basically just Silence, at a much faster tempo. The song itself is great though. It would be cool to see some more DJ Sharpnel here.

Secret to beating this song for noobs: Two fingers, left hand, Left and down arrow. Two fingers, right hand, 8 and 6 on numpad. Alternate pressing both as fast as humanly possible.
Not only have I beat this song using this method, I’ve got 500k total score and a 228 combo.
I know that’s not saying much, but I’ve beat a TON of players in MP this way.

As most of you guys know, I’ve already loudly professed my displeasure at using DJ Sharpnel songs… I always thought that FFR would use underground artists’ songs as a way of them getting their music out to a whole new medium. You know, helping the little guy out a bit. Artists like SGX, Atom the Immortal, and other new artists you guys feature need that kind of exposure. Sharpnel does not. This music is generic and boring. I’ll take 100 Bar Blackout over this crap any day.

For a difficulty of insane, why is it really only labeled very challenging? It should be like for gurus only or something. It’s too hard too read, and the keyboard I’m now using can’t handle that many keys being pressed at that close to the same time, so I missed a ton, and got a really bad rank of 263.

eh, fun song little harder to read when it goes flat red but other then nothing to difficult first part defintely easy to pass best ranking for a song for me ever 118 as of post (not great but better then my other ranks)

I guess Pants is a little easier than Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star. No red note syndrome. Would have been a great file if it weren’t for the uneeded jumpstreams, and if it had a little more variety. Seriously, that one jumpstream is so long, it starts to hurt my arms. Not good for a 6 minute song. O.O
