Credit Jackpot!

Today we’re releasing our latest mini-game, called Credit Jackpot!
Everyday, you’ll be able to guess how many arrows will be hit tomorrow. Whomever is the closest guess will win the jackpot of credits! The amount of credits it costs to enter can change, so some days the jackpot will be really sweet!
Head on over to http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/arrows/ to submit your guess for tomorrow. You’ll be able to watch the standings throughout the day to see who is the closest, but the only time that matters is once it hits midnight!

Should we guess with commas in between(8,221,914) or just the numbers(8221914)?

Cool idea, but I think there should be an automatic base jackpot as an incentive to guess in the first place. If the jackpot starts at 0 then why would someone guess at a chance to win nothing at the cost of 50 credits.
It should be a base prize of 2000 or something, funded by ffr’s unlimited credits.

how can this work? i mean, I can just look at the arrows hit until 11:59 PM and my guess would be only a few arrows off

There’s a grammar issue on the guessing page ;] What is written: “Here is all of the guesses.” What it should be: “Here are all of the guesses.”

Boy this is going to be hard to guess, but it also depends on how many people bet too, If only like 100 bet its a 1/100 shot.

two things. if coincidentally there is a tie for first place, i’m guessing the jackpot gets split?
and maybe, LD, you could come up with other things for us to guess/predict other than the amount of arrows hit in one day.

question: to win, do you have to guess the exact number? or the winner is just the person who guessed the closest to it?

guesses (i suspect) will show up the day after tomorrow – since it will be starting tomorrow.
I placed my bet. All I have left is 29 credits.

How is it that you give 50 creds towards your guess, but the current jackpot is 11,610 which isn’t a multiple of 50? :/

This is cool, but I agree that the page could be snazzed up a bit more. Maybe use a darker blue and smoother text to match the rest of the site?
Oh, and loving the red header. Maybe deck it out with a bough of holly?

Just a suggestion. Is there a way to put like the top 5 biggest jackpot winners, the last 5 winners, or the closest winners? Also something that says who won and how close he was, and how close you where.

I wasn’t talking about splitting the jackpot, I was talking like they should put a leaderboard kind of thing, with top 5 closest winner, 5 biggest jackpot winner, last 5 winner, etc.

you should win a super jackpot if you guess the exact correct number of arrows. Like 10 million credits or something. It’s so unlikely.
