The point is go read it. Surprisingly it is actually a really good story. Most people think Shakespeare's writing is not understandable, but Macbeth is quite the opposite.

Except that it's hard to understand unless you're good at reading Shakespeare. I took a class on him, but I'm also an actor.

Most people have no clue what the hell he's talking about unless they have someone explain it to them.

it was an interesting story... had to read it for my ap english class and i thought i wouldnt like it cause it was shakespeare but it was surprisingly good. what with the witches saying what would happen to him in the future and of course he didnt believe it at first but once one of the occurences happened he was shocked and actually started to believe them.

I had to read it for my English Class, and it was a pretty good story. Much easier to understand than Romeo and Juliet, though not quite as good.

My entire English Midterm was based on it, actually. Got an A+ =^.^=

...zzz. I probably would have enjoyed it more, but my English teacher was a tool.

Now Hamlet is twisted. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the guy kills his dad, marries and have children with his mom and later stabs his eyes out and run away to be a shepard right? That is just wierd <.<
