    War And Peace

Tis the legendary book by Leo Tolstoy, all about Napoleon's war on Russia, but at the same time showing us how it affects all of the normal people in life. It's about 1000 pages at about size 8'ish font.

I started reading it a couple of days ago, it's pretty good actually, it's not as complicated as I thought it would be, apart from trying to remember so many characters and so many varied lives. If you have the time and like to think, I recommend picking this up. I got it for £1.50 in a sale heh.

Anyone else read or reading this?

I don't mean to bump and old post, but I was looking for other Tolstoy enthusiasts. War & Peace is the greatest book ever written. I read it for a class about a year ago, and I now live by Tolstoy's teachings.

Except for the fact that I have a final in the morning and I'm going to be up all night, and as we all know, "In times of radical uncertainty, the best way to prepare is to get a good night's sleep." - Katuzov

Woah, yeah, I read this a year ago haha. Don't remember it too well but it was a good book. Not really an avid reader of his, just wanted something that would keep me reading for a couple of months. I actually used a part of it in my English synoptic exam (final exam). Was fun.
