we learned this in history class. our army is tiny compared to america's and therefore referred to as the tinpot army. that's not a joke, either. *edit: yeah it is pretty funny.

      I still laughed.

P.S. Fido, this thread should have been locked, anyway. It's going nowhere.

Honestly, I'm willing to bet that several people could have told you that Heavy Metal was terrible. I think it got some kind of a following as a porn magazine or something, though. The story jumped around so often that I couldn't even tell you what was going on five minutes after I watched it (I watched both of them when I was younger, but can't remember much more than some kind of green orb thing).

P.S. Canada and America both have strong points. From what I've heard (because I've never been there to see it), I might actually prefer being up in Vancouver. Someone who came to visit us was explaining how everything is in walking distance of most people's homes, and I don't drive, so that's a good thing for me. I've also heard the scenery is amazing around there, unlike the lack of it here if you're not out traveling.

I've been to Canada with my marching band. I like it because it's gorgeous, the Edmonton Mall is pretty much amazing, and you can walk into a random Starbucks and people can be smoking...not tobacco (which happened to me)

On the other hand, Winnipeg is the creepiest town I've been to, and when my band stayed at a hockey rink one night, the water tased like dirt.

But on the whole, Canada passes my test of approval.

I got robbed in Whitehorse (Yukon), so me and Canada aren't on good terms right now. But apparently that's like Canada's ghetto or something I dunno.

Also Heavy Metal had some pretty hot scenes in it when I was 12.

CANADA MADE REBOOT AND THAT SHOW OWNED!

Haha, actually I don't give two ****s on what country is better. Personally between the USA and here, I find us pretty much the same, I mean we all live on the same dirt, we just put a line in it and separated each other with a few ideals. I mean yeah we buy a lot of american products, but we still make a lot of great **** outselves. I mean gaming wise we got Bioware and Ubisoft lol.
I really don't know where Im going with this since Im currently half asleep lol All I know is Im just happy where I am and I don't care where I live as long as I can be free to do what I want =P

                      Love y'all! lol

I have nothing against Canada, but I'll agree that those Canadian import cartoons that used to come on all the time... like Code Lyoko or something like that... god awful.

Did you really just say "great ****?" That's hilarious. A complete contradiction.

Back on topic, I agree, some of the cartoons sucked. I've seen previews online. Did not impress me.

                                The US smells bad.

Also, the movie was from the early 80's. Only cartoons from the late 80's early 90's ruled supreme.
