Now, if I was a critic, (I actually want to be a movie critic lol) I would say the visuals in wall-e are simply amazing, and the non-dialogue parts work out just fine, but I found a plot kind of lacking.

Specforces, why does it matter if people don't like to speak with correct grammar? It's the internet. This is the one place where it doesn't even matter lol. I'm sure a good majority of people on this site are excellent writers anyways.

EDIT: also just some kewl stuff. metacritic gave it a 93/100 which makes it the highest rated movie of the year. Ratatouille did receive a 96/100 though :P
I thought this movie was awesome in it's own way. I think what a lot of people are missing is that it's different, unique from the pixar "magic" that you like to call it. The visuals were stunning for even an animated film, and the plot is actually instilled in itself. The point is that you are supposed to become immersed in this fascinating future, and learn what's going on for yourself gradually. But I personally loved the characters and the various cracks @ what the future could be like...

        9/10 for me

I thought the movie was phenomenal. Pixar has always pushed its animation forward from previous movies and WALL-E was no exception. The movie does look incredible and the attention to detail Pixar always puts is great. Yet, I don't know, I still feel that the environmental message was kind of forced. Seems that a lot of movies and shows nowadays are about how the environment is being affected.

Another terrific movie by Pixar. The animation was unbelievable and the the movie as a whole was just enjoyable to watch. One of my favorite movies of 08.

I can't argue about the good animation, but just like how good graphics doesn't make a good game, good animation doesn't make a good movie (although it's all part of the experience!).

It's my opinion, and don't try to argue against it because it won't change a thing about it, but Wall-E isn't the best Pixar movie ever. It wasn't even good in my opinion. Although it had its moment, it ended up to be disappointing.

Finding Nemo and The Incredibles remain my favorite Pixar movie.

I loved it. I won't compare it to other Pixar movies, because each is different and everyone has their preferences. I really liked this movie because of the feelings it created and how its tone was unique. Most of all, I liked that it had much less a feeling of "this animated Pixar movie is for little kids mostly" because it really is not. I received a very strong and good reaction to this movie that I know little kids would not because they may not completely appreciate and understand the entire concept.

I dont watch a lot of movies, but Ive seen most (or all) of the pixar ones. This one had to be the best of them. At the beggining of the movie, I felt like going to sleep since it didnt look like it had a point. But after getting a little bit into it, it made a lot more sense. It also had a bunch of sad scenes which made me like oh god.

                    Great movie to watch again.

i just came back from seeing this and have no idea how anyone could not love this movie, no offense to anyone who didn't

I went with four friends to see it and we all unanimously agreed that it was the best Pixar movie we'd ever seen and that it was way better than Wanted, which we also saw...fantastic movie.

Unfortunately it doesn't come out here until July 18th.

I did go and see wanted though, that was pretty awesome.

I'm supposed to go see this with my GF tomorrow...

Glad to hear it's a really good movie...although we make fun of every little thing in movies, for example in I Am Legend, the part where he enters the house and sees a note that say "Don't Open Till X-Mas" (or something along those lines) my GF looked at me and went "What if it's a mummified Puppy O___O?

Anywho, it seems everyone has Mixed Reviews...I must be broken though, because I couldn't sit through Nemo without wanting to kill someone the movie was a boring as watching Paint dry...but even that would of been better than the movie. The Incredibles is amoung my personal favs though.
