Note: I'm not good with writing or speaking my thoughts/ideas, what i have written makes perfect sense to me but to you im not so sure. I apologise in advance.

BlessTheFall isn't screamo though. CTTS has a unique style of vocaling, it's more like throated hardcore vocals.

If you checked the first page, you would realize they aren't. They're a post-hardcore band, which is sort of like screamo mixed with pop.

          Good band though.

I was going to say this also. Yeah, they are kinda "poppy" but
"loud-to-soft" (sometimes chaotic) dynamics, harmonized guitars with fast-paced riffs and twinkly melodic breaks, frantic/abrasive shouting or screaming
            seems pretty much like alexisonfire.

Here is a song that I think has the 'twinkly melodic breaks' all over the place, and a boatload of screaming...

            /energy part

Also, basically everything AOF plays is pretty fast =\

My opinion, take it or leave it.

Edit: Found what I was looking for...

Yeah, but if you actually listen to the bands on the list you would see they are very different.

Any band that is "original" is different than other bands in that genre. Just because AOF is different then the bands in your list doesn't mean they aren't screamo.

FOTBB is wayyy different then Canon in D, but they are both classical, no?

No but Alexisonfire is post-hardcore. There are screamo bands that sound different from other screamo bands, but they're still screamo. Alexisonfire is different then a lot of post-hardcore bands, but they're still post-hardcore.

Well every band is gonna be different from every other band no matter if they are in the same genre or not.

BTF are still screamo just cause there is singing doesn't mean its not.
But how about you just scare the **** out of everyone and use some deathcore, E.G Annotations of an Autopsy or Despised Icon

You guys obviously haven't heard real screamo.

                          watch this:

In the middle of listening to that, and for starters, I must say that every single one sounds /exactly/ the same. And I don't like any of it. And even though AOF fits all the things that wiki says is screamo, if you say it isn't, I'll agree with you because I don't want them to be classified with this.

The riffs and the music isn't too bad, but I'm not a fan of all the screaming on top of it. And it's not because I went in not liking it, I've never listened to most of it....
