The small creatures reminded me of the Second last form of the Aliens from Alien.
The way they filmed the monster was awesome! First it looked like a lizard walking on its hind legs, then a spider, then a tRex, then an Ape. THEN we finally identified it as a mutated spider monkey! Then it looked like a frog.

Did anyone else think the movie ended like WAY to suddenly?

Well. VERY good movie. 9.2/10
Soundtrack: the sound effects owned, no music.
Film: Very good perspective.
Ending: Lame

I loved it. The character development was very well done, I thought. If I had no knowledge of this movie whatsoever you could've totally told me it was real, and I would've bought it. It seemed so genuine, but the ending was lame.

NO! Faaaaaaar from it, i was waiting for someone to say this, the ending was BEYOND perfect, it was the only way to end a movie that was actually supposed to be a real event that just happened on the spur of an event, were you expecting some glorious ending where they killed the monster and rode of in the sunset dancing the jig of happy? Hell no, that monster is going to reap Manhattan

Also the Louse of the monster were like....zerglings...did any one else see that resemblance?
( the fact they made you explode was BEYOND awesome)

or the splash at the end?

GOD i just loved this movie to bits, beyond and beyond, it was great and the perspective made it THAT much better and sucked you in and made you feel like someone in that situation, not only that it Mixed Brick shat parts with funny, pure awesome and amazing parts all together PERFECTLY ( i mean, flaming hobos? whats not to love)

Honestly this is easy one of my fav movies of all time, easy top 1 spot


This is what i thought of it

Its freaking awesome
just so very freaking awesome just awesome stacked on awesome sprinkled with awesome with a succulent awesome sauce with an extra helping of awesome with a nice tall refreshing glass of awesome garnished with AWESOME

Anyone who thought there was going to be some explanations at the end or something should have known better. Its just a movie about this event from the perspective of a small group of people. It wasn't made to go in depth with what the monster is and why its attacking. The monster is not the centerpoint of the movie, the characters in the crisis are.

I thought the movie was great and the ending was just the way it should have and the way I expected it to end.

It was a really good movie, but I got so sick I almost threw up towards the end of the movie. Btw, motion sickness sucks ass.

Great movie. Okay ending. Lame beginning. Seriously, I was like, "Ok, this is a nice intro, but when's the actual movie gonna start?" I liked the camera idea, but the shaking was a bit much. Not as bad as Blair Witch Project though.

yea, the first 15 minutes were pretty slow but they were just settting up the characters so it wasnt too bad.

I loved the hand held camera view during the whole movie, got you alot more into the film with that.

It might have been because I was watching it online, but it seemed like there was ALOT of total blackness. I hate parts like that because all you can hear is talking but cant see shiit.

great movie though 8.5/10

I swear to god, that was one of the worst movies I've seen yet.
And no, thats not the ONLY movie I've seen, if you were going to backfire my comment.
But anyway, beginning sucked and was slow, middle brought up good climax and all, but what the hell, it just ended like that. The people in my cinema were all wondering the same thing, "Is that it?"
