    Re: 300

Movie was amazing. True the nudity was not needed, but it did not really take away from the movie all that much. Half of the packed theater I was in was laughing at those parts anyway. The fight scenes were extremely well done and overall the movie was too.

EDIT: No, I am not complaining about the nudity, it just was not needed.

I don't think the nudity hurt the movie at all. I like seeing nudity in movies sometimes. I don't care if the nudity was not needed this movie was still fantastic.

It was an awesome movie. I just had one question:

          *SPOILER*

You know the part when the queen stabbed the traitor guy in the court, and everyone found out he was a traitor? Why did everyone start chanting "traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor...". In real life, someone would have just been like "HES WAS A TRAITOR!" and everyone would have been like "OMG! O_O", they wouldn't have started randomly chanting "traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor, traitor..."

          *SPOILER*

It was a pretty sweet movie overall. Im definetly going to see that again.

Saw it a couple nights ago. Pretty awesome, even though the fight scenes were completely unrealistic.

Also at the end I was like, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING FIGHTING IN THE NEXT BATTLE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO KILL YOURSELF"

              Re: 300

I went to see this with like 20 friends. During the movie some dip-sh*t kid kept kicking the back of my friends seat (on purpose). Needless to say, a brawl nearly broke out. It would have been the perfect ending to the night. Definitely wouldn’t have minded hitting some people after the movie ended.

              (**SPOILERS**)
              My complaints about 300:
              - The wolf in the beginning story was exaggerated.
              - The sex scene was not needed.
              - Xerxes was totally homo.
              - Xerxes should have been killed by that last spear throw. I don't care if it's not true to history. I wanted to see the spear fly through his face.
              - Character development was weak.
              - The Narrators voice was fake-sounding.
              (**/SPOILERS**)

Everything else was incredible, and greatly outweighs my complaints. I will see it at least one more time. I’m very happy these are the same guys who are making the World of Warcraft movie. =]

Because that was real life way back then...there are many things that did not make sense.

This movie was amazing, and a total man movie. The nudity was in there to enhance it as a man movie, I mean men love blood, gore, and great manly fight scenes, but you gotta admit they also love seeing female frontal nudity!

I wanted to see it in IMAX so bad... but couldn't. I still watched it locally and it was still freaking amazing.

Our culture is so sheltered. Get over the fact there was nudity in the movie. I thought it was fitting and appropriate for the film. Oh no, a female breast! That's so horrible and wrong and shouldn't be shown on screen!

It was kind of funny, though. "And ask yourself...what would a free man do?"

The movie was great. Saw it on the IMAX, which was teriffic quality. Good, entertaining tale of the epic battle. Loved the style of the film. Giant gay persian leader with the really deep voice was sort of like 'woah' when he spoke. I suppose it was fitting though, as self centered as he was.

Y'know, now that I think on it, Persia had a lot of 9-feet tall mutated monsters at their command. Sparta only had that creepy guy.
If it weren't for irony, this statement wouldn't be funny.

Seriously, when we all saw Xerxes, we were expecting the guy to have a high-pitched Mr. Slave voice. Then he spoke and the theater was like:

                                "Whoa."
