Mine would have to be Shinta (Kenshin) from Samurai X...plus not to mention the whole story (The 6 episoded [is that even a word] version) of that was quite the tear jerker...or maybe I'm a pansy

Anime wise, I'd say either seeshomaru or Hueghs from Full Metal Alchemist

My favorite character video game wise is either Cid Highwind or Presea from tales of Symphonia (Its totally cool that a girl that size can use an axe almost as big as she is. And she can totally trash enemies with it too.)
