Maya is well and alive.

Nathan is dead. DEAD dead. SUPER dead.

And Adam is not coming back. Nobody knows where Hiro put him, and Adam can't get out himself.


I thought it was...A depressing conclusion. But a good one. There's SO many awesome possibilities for next season.

1) The muscle mimic girl and the technopath kid, driven by grief and sorrow, become a dynamic duo, whooping asses left and right.

2) Molly, Maya, and Suresh are one big happy family of awesome.

3) Peter and Sylar are SO going at it again. And this time, it'll be much awesomer.

4) Parkman and Hiro become an awesome team of detectives, trailing after Sylar.

5) Electric girl now becomes a more important character, working with Noah ****ing Bennet to **** up the Company.

6) Midas guy is a douchebag and gets killed by Sylar, hopefully. Same for Mrs. Petrelli.

7) Who the **** shot Nathan? That ****er's going down. ****, that sucked. T_T

Niki's death was one of those subtly meaningful deaths. She's been wishing her powers away because they've done so much harm, but now that they are gone, ironically, she wanted them back to save her life. Which fits into the theme of natural selection. So I barely have any problems with her gone.

D.L.'s death however, was not. He was shaping up to be an awesome character, but his death wasn't meaningful at all. The way I like it, if you're going to kill a main character off, do it right.

Peter knows what he can do, he could probably give his blood to Nathan to save him.

I'm kind of disappointed with the whole finale because the saving the world scene wasn't touching or exciting. I mean, before, it was a nuclear bomb, although less dangerous compared to the virus, would have made a large boom and the fact that his brother "sacrificed" his life to do the right thing was a happy ending. Adam just drops the virus, Peter telepathically stops it from breaking, and destroys it with his personal incinerator.

Of course, the other really exciting thing we could have seen was the Hiro and Adam battle, but noooOOOooo, it was better to see Hiro back at work, saying, "he'll never hurt anyone again" as the camera switches to an Adam in a coffin.

I'd like to cry more about the terrible endings, but I believe they have reasons to be excused. Tim Kring already admitted that the second season was a failure so I suppose he's been using it to set up the platform for the third one.

do you think peters blood can actually save nathan. i dont know how to explain it. i just believe that because peter obtained the healing power from someone else it wont have the same effect as claires blood does.

nobody thinks the virus ash is still deadly, and that since peter, nathan, and parkman all inhaled it, they'll start the spread of the virus anyway? assuming nathan doesn't die. if he does, then just peter and parkman... although i'm assuming adam felt all along the virus wouldn't kill him, so by that logic it wouldn't kill peter either... so parkman would have to be patient 0?

Yeah, the ending was disappointing. Hopefully the third chapter will be much better. :/

It's a comic, if you didn't see her die she isn't dead.

Maybe they'll apologize for killing off DL in such a lame way, resurrect him and have him save her and we can just continue the story ignoring the stupid crap.

By the way, everyone who's bellyaching about the second season: did y'all really feel that way while watching the episode, or were y'all overly critical about it while typing up these posts and just turned sour? Because there wasn't a minute of the second season so far that didn't have me biting my nails with excitement. It's been amazing.

By the way, everyone who's bellyaching about the second season: did y'all really feel that way while watching the episode, or were y'all overly critical about it while typing up these posts and just turned sour? Because there wasn't a minute of the second season so far that didn't have me biting my nails with excitement. It's been amazing.

It had its moments, but all in all, it hasn't been able to live up to the standard set by Season 1.

This episode was FANTASTIC up until about the halfway mark. Surprisingly enough, every episode this season has had this flaw (with the exception of episode 9).

Here's the thing. Season 1. I got it all and went into it like "ok well the internet says this is a good show but they also said lucky star and haruhi were good shows so i expect this to suck". Two days later I finished the entire show. I spent every possible moment I had watching the show. I couldn't get enough of it. Right after I finished watching it, I watched it again! With undivided attention.

With this season, I find myself having it on in the background at times while I focus on menial tasks. Just like how I watch House.

Also, there are many reasons I hesitate to call Nathan's death.

1) Matt was shot four times at the end of last season. Nathan was only shot twice.

2) Nathan has Adam's blood. Another character early on mentioned that this blood not only cures you, but it keeps you young forever. That would imply that the blood's effects never stop working.

3) Even if that doesn't work, Peter is RIGHT THERE.

PS - Niki is gone. Even with the implied death and the rules about comic books, she's gone. Why? She still had the virus when she went in there and the blood is gone.

@Seth: Volume 2 just ended in the States. That would mean we're on episode 11 and the Volume is over.
