    Slither

I saw this movie the other week, I just thought I'd give it a big ol' reccomendation, not just because it stars Nathan Fillion, but because it's a horror movie that is no only self-aware, but is a horror movie that is fun to watch. Is there melodrama? No. Do the characters make bad choices? Yes. Does Nathan Fillion get attacked by a zombie-dear? Hell yes.

In a nutshell, the movie is about a meteor that falls to earth and a drunken man named Grant Grant, on the outs with his wife, finds it. It injects him with a little spikey thing, and he mutates into an octupus creature, trying to find a womb for his thousands of slug-larvae, which he does find.

The setup and the payoff to the worms escaping the womb is one of the many moments in the movie where you'll be covering your mouth and laughing at the same time. As soon as the worms get out, the movies pace picks up ten-fold and doesn't let up until the end. The worms crawl into your mouth, and turn you into a zombie that shares the mind of Grant Grand, who now looks like a giant squid-blob, so the zombies run around calling out for their wife, which is both funny and unsettling at the same time.

I give this movie a huge reccomendation.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

Wow, I thought this movie would suck really bad, but Mal is making me kind of want to see it now.

Anything with Capitan Reynolds in it is worth seeing.

It's a horror movie that knows it's a horror movie, and because it's aware that it's completley ridiculous, it has a lot of great moments. I think people just going to be scared are going to find it middle of the road, but people that want to laugh, as well are going to find a little more in the movie.

If you've got the time and money, this is a must see. It's such a genre film that it's not taking in a great box office, so it won't be in theatres around for long, but it's more than worth seeing it while it is still around. This movie is sure to be a cult-classic.

The better part is the start of that scene, the police bust in...

Girl: Oh, I didn't want anyone to see me like this... Bill, is my boy okay?

Bill: He's with his folk... Uh... What is goin' on here, exactly?

Girl: I'm so hungry, Bill... Could you hand me a piece of that possum over there?

It's seriously a breath of fresh air.

                  I saw a pre-screening a few weeks ago.

                  It was really bad.

There were a couple funny lines in it, but that's it.

I dont understand. Do you mean the slugs make zombies or the zombies make the slugs. Ive only gone off the trailor, I thought that the slugs made zombies. Thats why i said Resi Zero. The slugs look alot like the leeches. The leeches make zombeanies. Is it the other way around in slither? And with slugs?

Re:0 kind of sucked, but they just carried the virus. In the movie, the slugs crawl into your mouth and go into your brain and control you that way, not gather to create an old man in the back of the train, etc.

                              Didn't really care for 0.
