You are a humongous idiot and are hurting him more than helping him.

I don't even want to say more; I'll let someone else explain.

EDIT: On second thought that was a little uncalled for but that's still a really dumb thing to say.

Definitely tied as my favorite Mario mix up there with the dirty mix by A Scholar & A Physician.
      What?

don't be stupid. KgZ is not Mozart. His compositions need a lot of work and as an artist I can personally attest that we like constructive feedback. The real artists, anyway.

hey carbo our compatibility on last.fm is VERY HIGH

btw cool, i do agree with most criticisms with carbo/blu; drums are kinda...idk. not that great. imo the ride can and is used every quarter note, but here it sounds wrong. piano and melody are cool though.

I agree, as long as it's constructive criticism, an not negative comments like "it sucks," then it is always good to have criticism so that KgZ can do better on his future songs. Overall, like the song, but it feels like it needs more treble, but one of the best Mario remixes I've heard.

I have nothing more to add then what has already been said. Pretty much meh drums.

I do have a question though, did you get that orchestra sound pack you wanted for Christmas? (don't ask why i remember this)

EDIT: In order to hear the 8ths, I had to run everything through the right speaker. I'd seriously recommend making the offbeat come out more.

post-dumps abstractly represent the existential nihilism that the song invokes in the listener with negative space, evoking the ephemeral nature of the mind - the journey of stepmania begins in hope yet soon becomes corroded into a dialectic of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis

Picking apart the drums really does seem useless, since I don't think they're ever the focus, aside from the fills which all sounded great. If nothing else, they're there just to fill that upper end and to give the song a pulse.

I'm not saying they should be outright ignored, but for this song's purposes I think the drums are more than sufficient.

bitch I can compose the music I criticize.

                  I just don't.

And I won't publicly post any of them to ffr. I may show you some of my pieces, though. but I haven't completed anything serious since I finally truly got a grasp on classical harmony. I have a string quartet that's 1/3 done though :>

                  But enough derailing.

robertsona's right about the ride cymbal btw. It can be quarter notes lol, I was just being kind of... stupid, I guess? ah who knows. point is it sounds out of place.
