Lolz... I remember the days when I started that stuff. I would seriously spend 5-10 hours just writing music on that program once I learned to play the piano really well. Then I moved to midi (which I still do) and fruity loops (I'm good, but I don't usually use the Best instruments, add more than 6 instruments, or understand the functions of Any of those curvey lines and stuff that a lot of fruity loops users posted which, I assume they know how to use.

Patterned automation is SO SEXY. Before those days, you had to go through the standard pattern editor; ugly and nonintuitive.

i have a lowcut filter on something i actually ended up not even using for the song. it was a hella hardcore dnb sample that needed too much work to be any good.

Haha, don't worry man. Being top is really based on if you're lucky enough that people don't zerobomb your song for no reason at all.

Though, if your song gets enough publicity, the ranks will actually become evened out.

at darkbearx- your totally right.

at nubbin - ye all you need is 10 thousand votes like paragonx9 and you will be there. no worries though cuz once another 5 people vote on my song it will be outta there. being 1st on that list is cursed. people expect the best song ever, and if they dont get it, they vote hella low.

Most of them are using FL Studio. KgZ is using Reason. Filterchild and I are using energyXT2.
