    Looking Forward

Nothing too complicated, just a 47 second new age-ish piano solo. An animating forum I posted it at said it seemed like BGM for a flashback sequence in a Final Fantasy game.

I wouldn't call it "finished", as I'd like to add on to it, but I kind of ran out of ideas going into it.

For the record, I don't play the piano or have any formal music production training. I'm just doing this as a hobby for now.

Might not be much to comment on, but feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated.

      Re: Looking Forward

I'm not one to critique piano music, but,

For some reason, I feel it really, really needs more syncopation. Having it play out in the standard quarter and eight notes makes it feel.... Only way I can put it is "canned"

      Good stuff, though.

Yeah, this was brought up by other people, the whole note bass chords and mostly 4th/8th note melody made it seem like something barely worth posting. I can see now that it's very, VERY basic..

I'm working on something now that'll have a decent length with more going on than just basic note patterns, hopefully. Thanks.
