I listen to far too much to mention a single category, but what I listen to:
All forms of prog, including:
Art Rock, Symphonic, Jazz/Fusion, Canterbury, Experimental, Krautrock, Neo, Folk, Electronic, Metal, Psychedelic, Avant, Zeuhl etc.
Then add in plain old rock, metal, heavy metal, death metal, mainly all variants of rock and metal. Jazz on it's own, classical, acoustic stuff, "world-influenced" music, ambient/soundtrack music, old Rythym and Blues, the odd dance/hard house/industrial song, some "gothic" stuff, and then some stuff that can't even be classified (like Mike Patton's solo albums which are just sounds he makes with his voice).
