I decided to make this thread because I wanted to try to take requests from others on the website. I'm not nearly as good as some of the people that play here, but I like a good challenge and I practice a decent amount when I get the time.
- I do read music so if you can offer the sheet along with the song request, that can be helpful.
- I rarely play by ear. I like reading music
- I only have played for 7-8 years. I started slow (at age 16)
- If I can't play the song, I will let you know.
- If you hear an error, chances are I'm well aware about it. I'm human, so I'm sorry.
- I play on a fully weighted Yahama Keyboard. I'm not sure what model it is...I just know it's pretty old.
- If you have tips or constructive points for me, I will listen. With that being said, I will not listen if you go, "Yo, put some lotion on them ashy fingers."

that's a nice cover, I love that song. I've read through some of kyle landry's arrangements, I never learned any of them fully though. have you heard of those? some of them are really interesting

If someone can make a well-recorded cover of this, I'd step it for FFR in a second.
I can play it myself but I just don't have a good enough microphone; if you don't have a good recording setup either you can ignore this post.
Or you can play it anyway because boogie woogie is tons of fun to play! if a bit hard on the left arm after a while

(Piano Collections arrangement is way funkier than S.S.H.'s cover, and saying something is better than S.S.H. doesn't come lightly from me!)

I have not forgotten about my piano requests. Still working on those. But lately I have been working on recording myself and getting the audio where it should be. Here is a sample of what I got so far. Please ignore the mistakes in the song...it's just a test.

Edit: I'm thinking about making a song and stepping it for FFR.
Edit2: All I did to produce this was hook my keyboard up to my computer with a aux cable. I recorded directly with Audacity. Put a concert hall like effect on it. Exported the audio and used Ableton Live Studio. I remastered it there a bit, and then this was the final product.
