[Request] Digital Graphics Designer

I am looking for a volunteer to design a layout, as well as graphics/icons and etc... for a website. The purpose of the website has already been decided.

Some quick information:
- the website will be built using a CMS
- you don't need to worry about CSS/HTML/js. Just tell me where things should be placed, and design the buttons and etc...

Requirements:
- must know in great detail about the visual appearance of websites. (what happens when you click a link, what happens when you hover over a link)
- please be good at art

Note: This is a non paid position. My rationale for starting this project is purely for the interest of resume building and learning experience, and I hope yours is too.

This mostly.

But I would be somewhat interested if I could make time... web design's a lot of fun, even though I have very little experience in it :P

I just finished this up today for school, for an example, though I don't have a diverse portfolio with web design by any means yet:
