Hey I'm interested in a background and banner. going through your photobucket i really liked that slipknot one, just to give you an idea. A simple yet bloody banner and background is all I really want, my profile page is http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/profile/Devilution/

I really like the text design/color the only thing is the color of the blood, it looks too cartoonish or something, is it possible to make it look a little more realistic? It looks really good though thanks

oh, i wasn't aware that there is a filesize limit, its probally just becuase there are too many colours in the blood (the 3D effect) so.... i'm going to say no i cant make it more realistic at the moment, but i'm going to play around with it and i'll let you know if i find a way to make it look realistic, and keep low file size

Okay, so i was able to make the filesize smaller, i had to make some adjustments with the design, in order to keep the filesize down... but i belive this is what you are looking for, pleasae note i had to put the area that comes up behind the header in white. (Because this takes up less space) so i dont know if it will show or not, but if it does, post back

yes, i have been having trouble with my internet so i havent been checking this as much as i might like to, but i did check it and my internet should be stable from now on!

so i checked this out, and i did see the white line, i'm looking into fixing this.... but the problem i'm having is that FFR is resizing my background because its just a tiny bit too wide, or at least this is what i suspect to be happening....

i can fix the white line but i'm not 100% sure that it will be flush, if FFR is indeed resizing my image.

so i'll post another link in this post soon, with a new background without the line, and i'll then wait for your profile to update to check if it is flush or not... be sure to post back and let me

Banners and backgrounds are actually at a 942 width limit. The new layout changed this but they never updated the specifications on the profile editor.

Also, to reduce file size (in Photoshop) just save as a .JPG and, starting at 12, reduce the quality with Preview File Size on until it gets below 512,000 kb.

i just got back from my soccer game, sadly we lost, i've yet to actually learn the tricks of the trade as far as file size and quality comes but i bookmarked this link and i intend to read it later ... Shiney
