OK!!! This is last and final picture I'm posting lol. Thanks again Bynary for the inspiration. I failed in attempt to fix the lighting on the steps but none the less it worked for what I was doing. Second, DEATH kind of fixed that problem. The light sort of "fears" DEATH and hence never touches him, yet it still creates a shadow. I thought it was a neat effect. It's all a learning experience using paint as a tool.
hehe ^^;;;;; star wrong it's sposed to be upsidedown but it's great =D

How long did that take. It looks like it took a few hours. Pretty good work, keep it up.
Yeah, only after I added all the lines for the stone did I find out I put the star the wrong direction. On the rug, the only reason it looks stained is because of the jpeg file. It messed with the colors. The texture is just a bunch of light red pixels. My total work time was somewhere around 10 hours to finish it all. Decent enough. But now since I still feel like adding textures, I'm going to be working still.
Overall it's pretty good. Good job with the lighting on it. The antenna or ears of the alien dude seems a bit too thick in my opinion, and it looks like there is a weird bump on the alien's arms. You might have meant for it to look like that, but it seems weird to me.

That's the main reason why I never use paint. The best compression formats for paint are jpeg and bitmap, unless if it's very simple with the colors then gif might have near 0 loss in quality, but the png file format keeps everything as it should, and unfortunately paint doesn't support that file type.
Yeah. I suppose it works decently enough to get the point across. People viewing the picture should just keep in mind that it isn't as blurry in the real picture.
Alright, I've added a fifth picture, "Starscape: Beyond Galaxies. It's my first attempt at an outer-space panorama. And stupid jpeg did lower the quality a lot, so it may look kind of sloppy.

Only posting my pic cuz you guys all have your fancy art lol. I drew the face in about 20 seconds. But that was in photoshop. Added color in paint about a month later when I realized I liked it, so it's a bit rough but w/e. I think i spent 2 minutes max on it.
edit: I'm gonna slap the ****er that points out my pic has no light reference in it.

I love Bynary's abillity to combine the color for the sky fading. I tried it with the sun, also in the star on my picture, but when it comes to making an entire sky, I can't blend the colors. :[
