I could easily replicate that. But I choose not to. I am capable of producing very textured, professional pieces of work in Paint. But I choose not to, because it's my personal preference. Please respect that.

Okay.. I'm not a great artist. I'm just trying to get you to accept criticism. ^__^

So you'd rather show-off amateur work than professional-work? Show me your capable of producing very textured, professional pieces of work such as the one's I posted from PixelJoint. I respect your personal preference but without proof I won't believe it; the one's you posted are not even decent; again, no offense.

My point is to take my advice. I know what I'm talking about. That is why I posted my old artwork so you can accept my tips; it seemed you kept questioning my advice to you.

Well, I don't agree with your statement that my art is not decent. It isn't professional, and less detailed than yours, but you seem to measure a picture's level of skill by texture and light alone. You might be able to draw textured pictures (And yes they are quite good), but because my pictures aren't like that does not make them any less good. You need to take into account ALL things, like perspective, figure distortion when perceiving depth, use of color (Excluding textures), and so forth. And btw, my second picture (Combat at 80000 Feet) is actually quite impressive IMO. It exhibits gradients and perspective quite well.

Btw, can you PM me about this? I don't want to to clutter this thread up with these posts; I believe they would belong more in a PM.

P.S You need to remember, I have had a lot less practice than you. What's good to me is not what you see as 'good' (And I think it's kind of warped IMO). I will gladly discuss this in a PM, but not here please. I want critiques of my art only.

P.P.S I know you are trying to help me, but you aren't with your definition of 'good' alone. I prefer no textures, and you say my work sucks because of it, and I don't think that's fair. I don't like your textured works that much, but I don't say it sucks and that you need more practice. Just making a point.

Alright, I am making an MS Paint cartoon. I have 58 seconds and 781 frames done. Here is a pic from one of my frames:

The cartoon runs at 15 frames per second, and is completely animated by me. When it's finished, I'll post it on youtube.com and give the link.

The cartoon is made of four skits, the first of which is finished. I am currently working on the second skit.

That's probably not made from MS PAINT.. that picture has like a billion colors. >_> Probably GIMP or something.

Ok, I'm almost halfway done with the cartoon. I've added a Matrix-style scene after a bullet is fired out of a gun. That's the second skit anyways, out of four.
