    iPhones tend to sound cleaner than most Android devices straight out of the box but the difference is negligible.
    Invest in a good IEM/Headphone and an external DAC/amp and you can get great sound with either phone.

    As an aside, you may need an amp to drive the headphones properly even if they are rated at a low impedance (e.g. AKG K701) or to eliminate ground noise (e.g. custom IEMs)

      you're not going to really hear a difference honestly lol

      only difference you'll hear is dependent on the bitrate of the audio file, and even then, if you're listening through average earbuds, it will be barely noticeable

      i'd probably say given the background of iphone and ipod, it's probably got a better digital to analog converter, though
