I had you confused with someone else then. What are you trying to do?

Download a song from FFR itself, or download a song for Stepmania?

Tell your friend to convert it to mp3, or something that your computer can understand?
By the way do you mean, a song like in FL/Reason etc. . . . or a simfile?

If I think I know what you're trying to say, and I think I am--you may be trying to get someone's simfile who archived it in .rar format.

If that's the case, download WinRAR and then install it. If you did it right, the files should look different.

If it's another format, list it and we can probably help you.

Download Stepmania

Then check the stickies in FFR on how to get songs on to stepmania or something like this

You know you can just download it off youtube then.
Find a converter site and it should do it for you, all you have to imput is the youtube link.

P.S.
Someone should make a thread that will get stickied to help people who don't know how to download simfiles,songs on youtube, etc.
