Skill - What is the process for unlocking newer harder songs.

okay, so i've been playing ffr for about 6 months, I can play (and pass) songs around the tricky/difficult level, I have just discovered the skill tab. (I have been doing the dance songs and not really exploring). I have played these songs under skill but all of them are very very easy for my skill level, I have unlocked (and im not sure how) a couple of songs that are around my skill level, but even when I play those, no further ones have been unlocked.

So heres my question:
What is the process for unlocking other songs? Do I play those really easy ones and they should appear? Do I play the 2 songs around my skill level? I am very confused about this, id love to explore new songs that are at my level, but can't seem to figure out how to do so.

you can also find many more songs (outside of dance) for your skill level... many different ways...

The song list: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...s/FFRSongs.php (you can sort by difficulty)

The in-game song drop down menu... in the upper left corner is a Q and S. The Q is for quality, the S drops down all the songs you have access to in the game... you can sort those by difficulty as well, or play a random song out of a range of difficulties.

Third way, explore other genres. Most genres are organized in order of difficulty... easiest songs at the front, hardest at the back. Except classic which is the reverse. And then secret is in order of credits to unlock... and purchased, skill, and token are in order that they were released. A bit confusing, I know.

Basically, to unlock a specific skill token, you just have to meet the requirement, ie. get 40 credits in one game, FC a song etc. If skill tokens were only given out by passing a song, it would be too easy and not provide adequate and varied challenge.

Wait, what? Are you saying that classic genre is hardest -> easiest?

Actually, somebody (jimerax?) fixed Classic a little while ago and it's normal now.

yeah Classic used to be a symbol of the genre of hardest files, but nowadays there's no good reason for putting dumps like DP, Revo, OMW, etc on the top anymore.
