Is there any way to Perma-Cache FFR songs?

I'm getting really tired of these songs re-downloading every time I quit my browser.

Specs. All private Data clearing is disabled in both IE and Firefox. I have no external programs that are cleaning it!

Does anyone have the cache directory for firefox? I could probably just find all the FFR cache files and save them to another folder. But a way to make them permanent would be nice.

Oh! Could I use the "Make Available offline" function? Would that save the song permanently?

Instead of bothering to do that you could just download them into StepMania?

Well, I am a Firefox user and I play the game in IE, I never have to reload using IE, and it is recommended for its Flash compatibility anyway. In Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced tab, in the last section called Security, there is a checkbox titled "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed". I uncheck this. Are you saying you have maybe unchecked that and still you need to reload? Works everytime for me, I even sleep my computer at nights and everything is there the following morning.

As for copying things into temp internet directories, you can't do it.

Yeah I have this same problem and I hate it. When I close Firefox all my songs are gone. That's why I use IE for playing FFR, even though everything else in the website loads SO MUCH SLOWER on that browser. =.=

Not sure what kind of internet service you have but when i play i have it on unlimited cache for ffr and it only takes like 2 seconds to load a song. But i guess instant would make a diffrence.

Your cache won't disappear if you uncheck the checkbox for "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" as shown in the picture in the privacy settings.

or you can keep that checked, but click on the settings button in the private data area and uncheck Cache from the list.

Old files in cache will eventually get deleted though once you reach your cache limit, which is set in advanced settings in the network tab as shown in the picture below.

If you don't care about hard disk space for internet files, you could set the cache limit to an extremely high amount. Default is like 50MB I think. You could put something like 5000MB for the limit if you want or more.
