I doubt anyone actually remembers me, seeing the time it has been since I last frequented this forum, coupled with my philosophy back then of LURK MOAR. I figured that now that there is the possibility of me becoming regular once again, I would re-introduce myself.

Hello there. I am often known as TheDarkNerd, but made this account back when I used this username for online games. I am a full-blown otaku. (I mostly blame Kilga for this, for broadening my anime horizons). I am not all that good at rhythm games and TWG. I am a regular at a few GameFAQs forums, hence my preference for a small sig and minimalist profile information; lazyness may also be a contributing factor. よろしく　おねがいします。

Well, I've popped in every once in a while, so in terms of layout not much has changed. More songs being added is really nothing special. I was wondering how tokens worked when I first saw the category for them. Slight change in look, forums are slightly different, Squeek has moved up, the General Board is further down than I remember it, I see there is now an announcement saying that spelling and grammar are mandatory (very welcome to see, coming straight over from GFAQs), and the TWG is no longer visible from the top forum page.

Other than that, it still feels like the same community.

On an unrelated note, I read through the rules and didn't really notice anything about swearing. Does that mean I could, for example, say "gosh-darned ****" in a non-flaming context?

Edit: Oh, auto-censor in place. Is including the first letter or only blocking out the vowels considered a bannable offence?

Edit: How do I disable auto-smilies? They have a nasty tendency to appear when I don't want them, and there are a lot of features I've forgotten. I could have sworn there was a checkbox for it though.

One thing I just noticed:

This usergroup gives you access to "The Werewolf Game" forum on this site. This is a section of the forum for a forum game, that takes place online. Do not join unless you plan on participating. Inactive users will be removed.

I guess the part about inactive users being removed hasn't been fully fulfilled yet.

I also just noticed that Synthlight has turned 34 tomorrow. According to his profile, he has 34 referrals, and has 3,408 posts. Why have I not seen any rule #34 of him?

Which makes me think: CJayC versus Synthlight. I'm curious as to what the outcome of such a thing would be, though I guess it depends on the contest.

Erm, I don't really have any questions. Well, maybe one: are tokens embedded with HTML? Or do they use something else that may not appear on some browsers? I looked for some that had some obvious-sounding clues, but didn't notice anything.
