Are Right-handed FFR players better than Left-handed FFR players?

I've been curious on this for awhile...

A lot of people that play FFR that I know are all right-handed, and they're much better than me. Of course, I'm left-handed. But I'm thinking it has to do with how I play.
I use my right middle and index fingers and my left index finger, but I ALSO use my left ring finger at times, and it's kind of confusing on why I'm more comfortable with it that way. Sure, everyone plays their own ways, but I've never seen anyone play like I do.

So this is basically just a discussion of the fact that Right-handed FFR players are better than Left-handed FFR players. I disagree with that statement, but I want to see what everyone else thinks.

A lot of ppl play 3 fingered(2 hands, 3 fingers), and hammymcsquirrel plays with his ring finger

I never knew he played with his ring finger.
Well, at least that's one person.
I wasn't trying to make much of a strong point on three fingers, though. Kind of about the ring finger usage.

Do you mean playing one handed with either our right or left hands?

Or that we write with our left or right hands?


I play one handed with my right and I'm a lefty.

I'm a lefty. I'm more coordinated with my right hand however, to a certain extent, because I was raised as a righty. Individual fingers are more coordinated in my left hand. When I randomly attempted playing lefty, I could just as well as my right hand.

I play with my middle finger/ring fingers. I play 4-fingered, two hands. So there.

hah i bet you will like this im right handed and i play better with my left hand BOOYA but i also do both hands 2 fingers from each then i like to do 1 finger from each (i bet my counter-strike history makes my left hand better with awsd or in dum lingo (left, up, down, right) i could aaa everything if my hands had more strength i see it and i know what to do but I JUST CANT push my fingers any faster =*(

i'm left handed. darkshark is left handed.

it does have small effects on different stepfiles, but usually only the very hard ones. like certain 200+bpm 1-handed trills... i can do them with my left hand, but not my right. or certain weird jumpstream patterns.

and I know DS has said that he finds OMW easier compared to others, because the 240bpm left-handed biased runningmen are easier for him than for righties.

I can write with both hands but im preferably left handed and i play ffr with my right :S.
