Biggest Noob question ever: What qualifies as a perfect arrow?

Before I get flamed for this, I did search around for a bit, and could not find this information. I would just like to know what exactly do you have to do in order to get a perfect arrow. I've AAA a couple of songs (18 so far), but I think it would be much easier if I was able to learn about exact timing and such.

*scratches head* o.O uhhh... when the arrows fill up the... erm... arrow-shaped boxes, then you tap the corresponding key. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. I really don't get this question at all. XD

Not really a complicated question, just what do you have to do to have a perfect arrow.

Hit it when it is at the arrow..

        - Good

        - Perfect ARROW

        - Perfect MIDDLE OF ARROW

        - Perfect BOTTOM OF ARROW

There are 30 frames per second, and you get 3 frames to get a perfect, so hit it either when it is right on top of the judgment arrow, or one frame after or before.

Yeah.. I don't either.. But it's good to know exactly what amount of frames it is.. But the timing in ms (wait, does ffr work like that??) would be much better.

"Complicated?" No, not at all, but it's just confusingly simple. How does one acquire perfect arrows? He/she knows how to maintain rhythm and has sharpened timing. I don't know how to give tips on obtaining those skills.

I think the only things that really do you that much good to know about are jack syndrome and screenshrinking.

isn't the perfect timing up to .25 seconds?
i think i heard that somewhere.

                        Each frame = 1/30 second
                        perfect window = 3 frames
                        1/30*3=3/30=1/10 second

On 1.75 I just hit the arrow when I see it and I get a perfect.
