Yeah, this is totally an introductory thread and is therefore in the correct forum. Newbie forum threads don't have to just be for saying, "Hi". Users are encouraged to tell us about themselves.

Hey guess what! You're not a mod.

Also, introduction threads belong in newb forum, and the threads you take issue with are introduction threads. This is the one place newbies are allowed to post without danger of being attacked by regular users. How dare you point some poor hapless new kid in the direction of the garbage bin, where they could be subjected to such harsh taunting that they decide to take their internets elsewhere.

I mean, we appreciate you reporting posts and whatnot, but you do your job, and we'll do ours.
