What's with the DL column?

    What's with the DL column?

    I've kinda been playing Stepmania for a while now, and I consider myself at least somewhat decent, which makes this simple question seem weird to me, but I was wondering...

    What's with the DL column? I've seen songs that have been up for a long time that have like five downloads, while some of mine that I put up within the week have... more than five... And those songs with five downloads have more comments than mine...

    Also, the leading Resonance sim has over 100000 plays, yet less than 400 downloads...

    I want to say that the numbers are due to people who play the song on Resonance but don't download it, but the ratio seems too absurd (ex: for every 250 people who play the song on Resonance, 1 downloads it)

          I see your point, but maybe some people enjoy sitting at their computer playing the same song over and over, you really never know :]

              Either way I don't play any other step games so i'd much rather sit at my computer and play right off the site.

                      The amount of times it takes to make a song play on resonance is rediculous, especially when using Firefox, as such, plays will be substantially higher than downloads.

                      That and most songs, when played, turn out to be horrible, so why would you download it?
