Why is everybody so rude on these boards...?

Every board I seem to go to, there are rude, insulting people everywhere!!! Why is this so? I know I am a n00b....well, not in the game, but here to the forums I am. I am sorry for that. But I would like to know why people are rude all the time. Thank you for reading my topic.

People don't even know who you are. If people are mean, it's not exactly something to care about.

people are rude because they can... they hide behind a veil of ignorance and can attack others without fear or repercussions because everyone's a stranger

As long as you use grammar (which I notice you are using), you should be generally okay from getting ripped on.

Sorry if we seem to be rude, but it is a common occurance that new members don't read the rules that are all over the place. We must get topics like that 10 times a week, and eventually, it gets on our nerves.

Instead of locking it, I'll take the high road and move it to newbie.

Yea, people on xbox live are mean. I played it with my friend and every time we killed this guy he flipped out on the mic. It was scary.
